Dr. Robert Tufigno is a senior figure in the shipping, trade and finance areas, with over 25 years of experience in the local and foreign markets, and a particularly high profile in Italy. He has worked extensively in Maritime law – representing Insurers, P&I Clubs, shipowners, freight forwarders, agents, banks and trading companies – and has held the position of Vice-President of the Malta Maritime Law Association. With extensive litigation and counseling experience in public and civil law, he has also acted as Chairman of Malta’s Employment and Training Corporation and as Chairman of Malta’s Housing Authority, whilst his expertise in finance and commercial matters has earned him the position of past Board Director of Lohombus Bank.
