Dr. Ian Gauci’s primary areas of practice embrace ICT, e commerce, broadcasting, i-gaming, data protection and competition law. He has handled complex, multi-jurisdictional cases involving a broad array of agreements, including software and hardware, roaming, interconnection and wholesale access agreements. As an expert in his field, he is a contributor to a number of trade publications and has co-authored the Maltese Electronic Communications Framework. Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Gauci has held the position of regulatory and legal advisor for the Malta Communications Authority, and presently he is the legal and regulatory advisor of a prominent local mobile operator and the fixed incumbent who is a quad play operator. He also assisted Government on issues dealing with E Commerce and E Trust certification.

Ian Gauci is a graduate in law from the University of Malta. He has taken the central role in extending the firm’s practice to the business sectors of telecommunications, gaming, e-commerce and information technology.
