GTG Advocates is happy to announce the launch of the series “Basics of Maltese Intellectual Property Law”.

The series is designed to act as a reference point for in-house counsel, start-ups, executives and other stakeholders as they navigate Malta’s intellectual property (“IP”) landscape. It will consist of 9 publications which will be published on a weekly basis every Friday starting from the 8th of March 2019.

The following topics will be covered:

  3. Trademarks;
  4. Patents;
  5. Designs;
  6. Trade Secrets;
  7. IP Transactions;
  8. IP law in the Employment Context; and
  9. Anti-Counterfeiting and Customs.

The authors, Dr Terence Cassar and Dr Bernice Saliba who focus on ICT and IP will touch upon different angles of IP applied to innovation, digital economy as well as legacy issues around IP rights.
