Mr Stefan Briffa joined the firm in January 2020.
Mr Briffa was involved in the telecommunications business for over 23 years, where he held a senior managerial role in the regulatory and policy field at GO plc, Malta’s largest telecommunications network and service provider. Stefan’s responsibilities included designing regulatory policy and strategy, managing regulatory matters, maintaining relations with a number of authorities, leading work on competition cases, and managing public affairs activities for GO plc. In 2019, he was General Assembly Chairman of the European Telecommunications Network Operators’ Association (ETNO). In 2018/2019, Stefan also spearheaded GO’s start-up venture fund for technology start-ups.
He holds a Master’s Degree in European Affairs, a Post Graduate Diploma in European Competition Law and an Honours Degree in Business Management. For many years he was a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta, where he delivered post-graduate and undergraduate courses on business policies and practices in the EU.
Mr Briffa holds the position of Manager with the firm, and he is responsible for Compliance Projects, Compliance Advisory, Bidding, Licensing and Competition matters.
